The acclaimed Accordi Musicali International Festival will be returning to Italy’s Abruzzo region from the 1st to the 13th of August 2026, bringing together an exceptional roster of international soloists and chamber musicians for an eclectic programme of concerts that will be held in Pescara, Bucchianico, Vasto, Atri, Chieti, and Ortona. Hosted in some of the most stunning venues that Italy has to offer, the festival will feature a cohort of celebrated artists who will be presenting audiences with seminal interpretations of beloved works from across the classical repertoire, alongside contemporary compositions from the masters of our own age, in what promises to be an unforgettable celebration of classical music in all its glory!

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
It is a great honour for me to welcome you to the 2026 Accordi Musicali Festival, a new edition of a project that is very close to my heart.
Each year, this festival gives us the opportunity to bring together artists from all over the world, presenting performances of some of the most wonderful musical works humanity has ever created to music lovers from all around Europe and beyond. This is not something that should be taken lightly, and our work on the latest iteration of Accordi Musicali has been carried out with this rich history at the forefront of our minds.
In fact, this 2026 edition brings together an extraordinary group of musicians, including celebrated soloists, chamber ensembles, and long-standing friends of the festival. For me, however, one of the most important aspects of Accordi Musicali is the connection between the music and the places in which it is performed. Abruzzo is a region of great beauty and cultural depth, and its theatres and concert spaces allow each performance to take on a special character. Whether in Chieti, Atri, Vasto, Pescara, Ortona, or any other venue, every concert becomes part of a wider experience between the setting and the music itself.
I would like to thank all the artists, institutions, and audiences who continue to support Accordi Musicali, and above all, our President, Konstantin Ishkhanov, who has been a hugely influential force behind this festival from its very origins. I hope that this new edition will offer moments of inspiration and joy to you all, and I look forward to welcoming you to our concerts this coming August!
