Following a series of stellar achievements in the world’s most prestigious violin competitions, Dogadin has firmly established himself as one of the leading violinists of his generation. His international breakthrough came with his First Prize and Gold Medal at the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow in 2019. This landmark victory, along with First Prize at the IX Joseph Joachim International Violin Competition in Hannover (2015) and First Prize at the Singapore International Violin Competition (2018), consolidated his reputation as a formidable presence in the classical music world.
Dogadin made his debut in 2002 at the Grand Hall of the Saint Petersburg Philharmonie under the baton of Vasily Petrenko. Since then, he has performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls across the globe, including the Berlin Philharmonic Hall, Wiener Musikverein, Royal Concertgebouw Hall, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Esplanade Concert Hall in Singapore, Seoul Arts Center, Auditorio Nacional in Madrid, Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, Tonhalle in Zurich, and Berwaldhallen in Stockholm.
As a soloist, he has appeared with many of the world’s foremost orchestras, such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Munich Philharmonic Orchestra, NDR Radiophilharmonie, Budapest Symphony Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, English Chamber Orchestra, Berlin Symphony Orchestra, Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra, Singapore Symphony Orchestra, West Australian Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of the Mariinsky Theatre, Kremerata Baltica, and the Saint Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra.
Throughout his career, Dogadin has collaborated with some of the most distinguished conductors and musicians of our time, including Yury Temirkanov, Valery Gergiev, Vladimir Ashkenazi, Manfred Honeck, Thomas Sanderling, Vasily Petrenko, Vasily Sinaisky, Elisabeth Leonskaya, Vladimir Spivakov, Daniil Trifonov, Klaus Mäkelä, Denis Kozhuhin, Pierre Amoyal, Andreas Ottensamer, Andrew Manze, Shlomo Mintz, Anu Tali, Muhai Tang, Ken Takaseki, Saulius Sondeckis, Nicholas Carter, and Michał Nesterowicz.
His performances have been broadcast internationally on major platforms such as Mezzo Classic, Medici.tv, the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), BR Klassik, WDR and NDR Kultur, YLE Radio, NHK, and BBC, reaching audiences worldwide.
Dogadin’s artistic formation reflects his deep connection to the great European violin tradition. He studied at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory with Professor Vladimir Ovcharek, the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne with Professor Mihaela Martin, the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, and the Music and Arts University in Vienna with Professor Boris Kuschnir. Since 2022, he has served as Professor at the Centro Superior Katarina Gurska in Madrid.
Among the many highlights of his career is the honor of performing on the historic violins of Niccolò Paganini and Johann Strauss during international festivals — a testament to the esteem in which he is held.
