The Accordi Musicali Festival is delighted to announce the participation of the renowned Italian pianist Pietro De Maria, an artist internationally admired for the depth of his interpretations and the breadth of his repertoire.

De Maria rose to prominence after receiving the Critics’ Prize at the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow in 1990, followed by First Prizes at major international competitions in Milan, Zurich, and Hamburg. He has since performed as a soloist with leading orchestras worldwide, collaborating with renowned conductors such as Roberto Abbado, Myung-Whun Chung, Daniele Gatti, Eliahu Inbal, and Gianandrea Noseda.

His repertoire spans from Bach to contemporary music, and he is the first Italian pianist to have performed Chopin’s complete piano works in public concerts. A highly regarded recording artist, De Maria has released acclaimed recordings for Decca and Dynamic.
