Official Schedule of Concerts of 2023 Accordi Musicali Festival Announced
The 3rd edition of the Accordi Musicali International Classical Music Festivalwill soon be with us, and organisers have just released the full schedule of concerts and venue locations for prospective attendees to identify their favoured dates.
The first entry in this iteration of the festival will take place on the 10th of September at the Teatro Kursaal Santalucia in Bari, featuring Austrian violinist Boris Brovtsyn alongside the AYSO Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Vahan Mardirossian. This will be followed by two concerts at Livorno’s Teatro Goldoni on the 20th and 21st of October, with the first being headlined by Japanese violinist Fumiaki Miura, and the second witnessing the return of Brovtsyn for a second concert. Both of these evenings will also see conductor Eric Lederhandler leading the Orchestra del Teatro Goldoni di Livorno on the stage.
Two further concerts in Livorno will follow, with conductor Mario Menicagli replacing Lederhandler at the helm of the Orchestra del Teatro Goldoni di Livorno for these events. Italian pianist Alessandro Taverna will showcase his inimitable talents on the 31st of October, before Chinese/US violinist Nancy Zhou shall take to the stage on the 1st of November. On the 1st of November a simultaneous concert shall also be taking place in Bari, featuring Armenian/UK cellist Alexander Chaushian alongside the AYSO Symphony Orchestra and conductor Teresa Satalino.
November the 4th will then see German cellist Julian Steckel at the Teatro Goldoni, joined by Nabil Shehata on the conductor’s podium. The following day, Chaushian will return to present a second concert, this time joined by Micha Katz leading the orchestra. Belgian pianist Denis Kozhukhin shall arrive in Livorno soon after for a concert on the 11th of the month, with Israeli violinist Itamar Zorman making an appearance the next day alongside conductor Christian Schulz.
Ukrainian/Austrian pianist Anna Ulaieva shall headline the concert of November 23rd in what will be the festival’s penultimate entry, accompanied by the Goldoni Theatre’s orchestra and conductor Epifanio Comis, before French/Belgian cellist Camille Thomas brings the 2023 Accordi Musicali festival to a close on the 24th of November alongside conductor John Warner.
