Aleksey Semenenko to Perform at Accordi Musicali Festival 2026
Ukrainian violinist Aleksey Semenenko will appear as a featured artist at the Accordi Musicali Festival in 2026, bringing his distinctive artistry and internationally acclaimed musicianship to the festival’s audience.
Renowned for his refined, impassioned, and commanding playing, Semenenko is widely regarded as a leading representative of the great Odessa violin tradition. His remarkable talent earned him places on the prestigious BBC New Generation Artists scheme as well as Young Concert Artists in New York, helping introduce his performances to audiences across Europe and the United States.
Recent highlights in his career include a UK tour with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, as well as a televised appearance on Friday Night is Music Night with the BBC Concert Orchestra on BBC Radio 3. During the current season, Semenenko also makes his Canadian debut at Bourgie Hall, and performs with the Kyiv Symphony Orchestra at the Berlin Philharmonie, as well as with the Kuopio Symphony Orchestra.
Among his latest recording projects is the album Crossroads, released on BIS Records, created together with pianist Artem Belogurov, featuring sonatas by André Previn, Schemmer, and Gay.
