Accordi Musicali Festival 2025: A Season of Excellence and Inspiration
The Accordi Musicali Festival 2025 delighted audiences with a series of world-class performances, featuring some of the finest musicians from around the globe.

From July through November, music lovers gathered in historic theaters across Chieti, Vasto, Atri, Città Sant’Angelo, Bari, and Livorno, experiencing a program that combined technical brilliance, emotional depth, and a true celebration of classical music. The season opened on July 31 with the Orchestra “Duchi d’Acquaviva” under the direction of Nataliya Gonchak, featuring the extraordinary violinists Pavel Vernikov and Svetlana Makarova from Switzerland at Teatro Marrucino, Chieti.
The festival continued with remarkable solo performances, including Maximilian Hornung (cello, Germany) and Hisako Kawamura (piano, Japan) on August 1, Roman Kim (violin) and Severin von Eckardstein (piano, Germany) on August 2, and the celebrated Italian duo Fabrizio Meloni (clarinet) and Pietro De Maria (piano) at Teatro Rossetti, Vasto on August 3.
Highlights of the program also included virtuoso performances by Nikolaj Znaider (violin, Denmark) with Andrey Gugnin (piano, Netherlands) on August 4, Haik Kazazyan (violin, Armenia) with Giuliano Mazzoccante (piano, Italy) on August 8, and the French duo Victor Julien-Laferrière (cello) and Michel Beroff (piano) on August 9. On the same day, audiences at Teatro Marrucino, Chieti enjoyed the performance of Maria Ioudenitch (violin) and Stanislav Ioudenitch (piano) from the USA.
The festival also featured a stellar line-up in October and November, including Fabrizio Meloni with the AYSO Orchestra in Bari, and violinist Itamar Zorman with the Orchestra del Teatro Goldoni di Livorno, conducted by Nicola Colafelice, closing the season in Livorno on November 1.
The 2025 edition of the Accordi Musicali Festival proved once again that it is a beacon of cultural excellence, uniting audiences from across Italy and Europe in the shared joy of music.
